    It's all staged. "omg simon cowell is leaving! omg he said something else! omg this person took drugs let's kick them off! wtf he doesn't care?? ok let's vote this new person. omg this new generic person won and released a version of hallelujah for the 100 billionth time."

    It's boring, it's generic and liked by the mindless masses who have no taste in anything good.

    However I will grant you a pardon if you confess the only part you like is the cringe-worthy auditions. As they are funny, just because of how awful they are.
