History of [BB]

[BB] is one of the oldest Garry's Mod servers around still today. Formed in Summer of 2006 the focus at the time was primarily on the roleplay aspect of the community. Since then however the community has since expanded to various gamemodes and as a result you're here today!

While [BB] does not rely on donations from its members, any funding we do receive offsets the costs that are paid for the servers themselves and thus allows us to continue uninterrupted service of all our servers (and anything else we power). By donating, you help keep [BB] alive and by extension the fun you're having with us!

Frequently Asked Questions

How long does my donation last for?

For Platinum, it lasts for the advertised duration of each tier at the time of purchase.
Title cards offer the option to redeem 20 cards for a permanent title, which remains available even if you change to another title.
Otherwise, everything else lasts until consumed, the heat death of the universe, or the termination of [BB] services.

Can I pay with Crypto currencies? (Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin etc)

Depends on the coin. Send me a PM on the forums to chat about it.

Is it possible to donate in fragments / parts (E.G $5 now, $10 later)?

No, all payments must be made in full at the time of donation.

Is it possible to use an alternative other than PayPal?

At this time, no. However, you can use debit or credit cards on PayPal without an account.

Does my donation jump across to "insert community here"

No.

Refunds, how do they work?

All transactions made here are considered donations and are classified as digital goods, which are non-refundable.

I'm using Family Sharing, how does this affect me?

You can still donate for Platinum like anyone else. Doing so will remove any [BB] restrictions on your account, such as the inability to earn cubes.

Are there any benefits that fall under "pay-to-win"?

On older gamemodes such as Deathrun, there are toggleable benefits which could be considered pay-to-win. However on any modern gamemode we offer no such feature exists.

Is Platinum membership transferrable between Steam Accounts?

Yes, assuming the previous account is in good standing and you own both accounts.

How do reserved slots work?

The reserved slot system works by always leaving 1 slot open to the servers. This means that you're always able to join a server without any hocus-pocus console commands. As a result, once you connect another non-Platinum player then has 30 seconds before they're forced off the server, unless another player disconnects during that time.

Are there any forum benefits?

Not at this time.

Can I pay to be Admin?

If you're asking that question, then it's likely we don't want you on the team.

Can I pay to be unbanned?

No.
