Im still having the same damn problem with my vent, my ping spikes to 20-30k and i cant make it stop, its been like this for months now and i hate not having access, lately it seems its also not even letting me hear what other people say, normaly even at my 20k ping i could still hear what people said in real time, but anything i said would be delayed 5 minutes if sent at all. Any kind of help on this would be great.
Hopefully it will stop this, but doubtfull, its like this on any vent server, so its the vent program itself, ive re-instaleld it multiple times, but it never did fix it "Ive noticed that even though i uninstall vent, everytime i reinstall, all my data was saved, servers ips, my name and so on, im thinking maybe somthing in those files is causeing this, but i dont know where they could be stored, the vent file in /program files is always erased, so it cant be there
No idea what that means And teddi, do you have an example link to where that file could be? like "C:\Program Files" and so on
It's in the registry, if you're unsure about it, don't touch it, as one slip up could fuck your pc over. And what mike is on about is the command promt. Goto start -> Run -> type command. Then type those in. (or at least, ipconfig /flush)
the commands dont seem to have worked, tried a search of my computer of anything vent related, and i still cant find those damn files that contain the info. Anyone have any other ideas?
Yes, and stop suggesting the sys32 thing, its old Everything else i have works fine, steam voice, xfire voice, any voice chat program i have works 100% But vent dosnt want to work, and i have no idea why
