I just got banned on the server for doing the climing thing in nexus. #1 Im not the only one that does this ive seen countless other people doing this and they never got in trouble. #2 I got no warnings or anything kicked and banned??!? #3 I did not no this was a rule at all. #4 I was banned for the rest of today and another three days.. Thats a little ridiculous. Im unbanned at Sun, 03 Aug 2008. Now seeing how I am leaving tomorrow to go camping still Sunday this ban hardly will effect me at all but I do not want this to hurt my reputation in anyway seeing how no real crime has been done. -Thanks ZachPL
Umm all the other unban request have at least 1 post...... Im still very mad about this and want to know what is going on.
No last night it was on central 17 and I was in nexus and was practing doing the that you do to get into nexus then I was banned without a warning and not knowing this rule... Plenty of other people were doing it.
Maybe there should be another map without exploits such as these. Anyway the CPs can shut that door where the climbing exploit is and no one can get by it, so I really don't see how it's a problem.
I think when I was doing it the door was shut but I kept jumping right down after to make sure I knew how also if a cp told me to stop or leave I did for a while.
Props are not to help you reach places u are not to go to. But then why do you want in the nexus. Raiding the nexus for no reason is consider non-role play. The opening the door and jumping on the top to in the nexus is an exploit and will get you banned for that. And Keypad climbing is even worse. Its not the Place to challenge your sneakiness. Plus there's been no reason in the past days to kill the mayor, as to see the only evil mayor we have had is Tox. Better have a good reason to kill the mayor now.
You shouldn't be map exploiting. Do i need a rule to enforce that? I shouldnt have to. Don't use that as an excuse or next time i'll increase the ban.
Contact author of map Ask him for permission to release an unbugged version for BB only Fix the current exploits (2 in Nexus, cover up some holes to the skybox) Don't place your name on it. I could do that all, since it hardly involves any work...
A map will always have an exploit or two. I would rather not have people download a 70mb map just for there to be new bugs. Simple fact is don't exploit.
Sorry I did not know that this was a exploit... I thought the map was made so people could try to get in without being the mobboss.
