If you attempt to join and maintenance mode is on, we're likely just replacing things live and instantly testing them out. No need for the entire playerbase to partake in that.
It was certainly a shock to open the forums, hit new posts, and then see around a page's worth, and then to even find out that it's happening now too.
It's all hands on deck really. Just a pity we had this IT exam sprung on us with a few weeks notice, because it makes getting the final bits of RP all sorted for tomorrow a pain in the neck, to the extent where I'll probably only be able to get minimal amounts pushed out before I have to sleep. I know Killermon is doing some stuff and Whitefang has most of the inventory sorted, although it won't be the fully fledged inventory, just enough to give proper interaction and so on.
If it's any consolation my side is going great. Player models are basically done outside of commanders, taser code is in progress and the Station has been configured to basically my exact specification (ty killermoo). Card readers are installed and keycard code is pretty much there. Once the basics are out, namely crafting, resources and housing (not that far away), I'm expecting it to pick up pretty steadily from then on.
Sounds pretty good! IIRC, Teddi said weapons are pretty basic for the time being, so we probably won't have to worry about the Police having a full arsenal for the first few weeks of RP being out.
