Portal 2 Gameplay

Looks pretty amazing.

However I am worried about the personailty bots/things. They might ruin the charm of Portal 1. Being alone with something that hates you.

 

Yeah, I agree, although the game will still have some sort of charm.

I'm hoping that you don't spend to much time with the personality cores as well, and instead only see them off and on throughout the chambers. I really want to see some co-op game play though... a modified turret and a personality core with legs bouncing through 4 portals and getting frustrated with each other as they fail, sounds great to me. xD

 

Co-op seems intresting. Makes me wonder if you can shoot through each others portals.

And for the graphics. They just raped my eyes. Even at that horrible quailty it still looks fucking amazing. I just hope they dont do a crysis and demand a super computer (my PC can only run it on high... And I'm in no mood for upgrading this year)

I don't think it will require a super computer between now and it's release some time in 2011, Valve games are known for being very accessible and still looking pretty great. I think you'll be fine.

Technically, EP3's never been officially announced. It's vapourware created by the gamers. Gabe and Valve are just laughing at you.

I liked that British Personality Core, he was pretty funny. Would be sad if you had to kill him like you killed the Companion Cube. That gel stuff looks like it could get a bit tricky, I don't like water much in games but it looked quite functional. Definitely gonna get this.

 

While I disagree with you views on portal. I agree... Where the fuck is my Episode 3.

I was thinking the same thing, but it's too low res and seems to use too few polys to be water. Which is why they probably made it more like Gel.

Valve never released a date for Ep3

 

I wanted to finish HL1 before HL2, but I can't noclip on a playstation 2. So maybe by the time ep3 comes out, I'll have caught up.
Also, this is about Portal 2, not episode 3. Stop derailing.

I need a new GFX card cuz this PC won't be able to run it. It's more of a cardboard box with some wires tbh.

 

Hopefully by 2011 I'll have a better computer. Though I kinda wanted to get it on PS3.
