Throughout any game and / or communities there's always a huge mix of players; the good, the bad and those who appear all over the spectrum. It can be troubling to both reward and highlight the good players while simultaneously keeping on top of the players that provide a negative experience - especially if there's a limited scope of staff around.

As a result something that's been in the works for the past few weeks is the MVP (Most Valuable Player) system. The best way to describe a MVP is someone who actively contributes positively to the community and as a result has been trusted by ourselves to assist in monitoring of the servers. To further clarify - this is not a staff position; but one for non-admin players who would like to effectively show they're wanting to go further.

    MVP Abilities and Perks
    • Ability to initiate votes of the following -
      • Ballpits
      • Sandpits
    • Shiny green optional MVP title
    • Access to MVP specific forum that allows for enhance [BB] discussions and contributions.
As it currently stands I'm still working on cleaning it up and readying it to go live. In the interim if you're interested you can apply for the current applications forum - that said we're also looking to handpick people as well. Those who have been actively contributing in some way (content, reports et al) have a far greater chance of being awarded MVP as opposed to those that frankly; don't do much at all, or tread a thin line.

Edit: I've already received questions pretty quick so to clarify one thing
    Platinum

Platinum members won't receive these perks - but you don't have to be Platinum either to be picked for this position. It's nice if you have it! But by no means a requirement.

In short the idea is to have coverage when no admins are on, especially early morning, and it should allow for i.e. persistent mic spammers to at least be dealt with.
