DayZ: Arma II Mod

Dunno if it was mentioned earlier, but just found the auto installer for the mod, saves downloading all the folders and extracting, pretty handy.

Loving getting respawned onto coast after being in the northern most point of the map :-/

 

Pretty much every update resets your spawn

 

I trusted someone and they shot me in the head while I was typing, disappoint. I don't want to go around killing people though as they said humanity would be coming back as a useful feature, so I don't really want a massively negative one.

 

Doesn't really matter. At the average rate most characters live at you'd be on a new character before you know it.

 

I usually live for several hours tbh, even in Chern, the people I run into are generally cool and I usually do well in gun fights, but yeah sometimes people are just unpredictable and that shortens my life span :<

And humanity isn't reset by dying either. I found that out after spending 3 days and like 5 characters later still being a bandit after killing someone in self defence.

 

yeah assuming they do bring back humanity in some way it best reset on death -_-. Mine was like -40,000 before they removed the counter and i'm pretty sure it hasn't gone up much since >.<

 

To be honest I think humanity is too hard to implement, with the game being "shoot or be shot" kind of. They can't have my beans, so I'll take theirs.

 

I like to trust in people, but in this game the risk is too great. I'd never just shoot a random player for the sake of it ordinarily, but now I'm some-what realizing that if I don't they'll probably just do it first.

But with that said, I've met a dozen or so people I've teamed up with fine. Maybe I'll just run off!

Today i followed a helicopter up to the far north and found a camp with two people guarding. It had 2 helis, a uaz a dirt bike and a shit ton of tents.

I considered stealing the helicopter but decided against it as i liked my gear and the chance of me crashing in that is high as i suck. So i took the UAZ. I then proceeded to drive all the way to chernagorsk running over everyone and everything i saw. Was fun

just incase your wondering server is DE4 the camp was in the far north-east corner. I doubt they're gonna move anytime soon so if your bored i'd have a trek up there and get some stuff
