Even though this is a CSS problem it seems appropriate to put it here. Ok so lets say that my CSS had no problem running 3 hours before I went on again. Well when I tryed 3 hours later I crashed at the loading screen with the hl2.exe has encountered a problem. So, I try again and the same thing. Then I uninstall it and reinstall it. Nothing. I have defraged the cache files, Verifyed integrity of game cache. Nothing. Any ideas? My brother installed Day Of Defeat Source while I was gone. Could that have affected it? Thanks in advance.
Hmm, sounds like a graphics issue, seeing as you've verified the gamefiles. Also, maybe delete/rename your cstrike folder, and let it be recreated, and see if it works then.
Ok, I don't know if its a graphics issue. I have been playing CSS for over a year. *Goes and trys renaming his cstrike folder* EDIT: WORKED! Thanks a lot. Much appreciated.
