    London Luton Airport each year has a Charity Partnership program, This year a Charity very close to me and my family has been shortlisted.

    If you don't mind could all who read this please go to the link and vote for "Sue Ryder" (Bottom of page)

    London Luton is one of the major Airports here in the uk, The winner of this vote will be the Airports "Charity Partnership" This basically means they will get millions of pounds of funds as well as a lot of press and various other things. The Sue Ryder is a Charity that gets 0 funding from the government, and so this would mean a lot to the Charity.

    Does happen quite a lot here, however many charities choose not to as then they are affiliated with the government. Ill go into to detail why this is bad if you wish.

    It's funny because most charities over here use the money for "administrative costs".

    Aha although this may with some be true, some of my mum basically runs one of their Hospices and she says that the money that's donated to them goes straight back into the building.

    I completely forgot about this thread and have been looking through old threads i'm subscribed to.

    Sue Ryder actually won the partnership and it helped them out a hell of a lot.

    So you guys can feel happy for that :3
