Okay, so my best friend just got married, he and his wife are both big anime freaks, and decided to go with a Japanese style wedding (even the dress, food, etc). I found that for some reason, the majority of the mass could not use chopsticks. I always thought it was pretty easy. How many of you can/cannot use chopsticks?
I can't, although I've never really tried/bothered to learn, I imagine if I was taught it I'd pick it up quickly, but it's never been something I needed to know really.
Have a Chinese friend, used to go round his all the time and there wasn't really much choice so i picked it up pretty quick
I chose "I am good with Chopsticks" I am half and half still not properly good with them. Tried picking up a sausage with them it is hard. Chopped up bacon is alright with the sticks. I knew Teddi would be good with chopsticks (Teddi's Most used word) "Off too get my noodles"
Welcome to the future. We are far more advanced and have a device that makes eating less complicated. It's called a fork. Chopsticks are obsolete
Its a traditional device not meant for pure practicality and functionality like the said fork/spoon/knife/etc. Easy as shit to use.
It's easier to use than you think. I can eat faster with chopsticks than with a fork. Also it was invented by Confucius because he saw the knife and fork as too aggressive to be at a place where you eat.
