Teddi Thank you so much! for print screening that software Origin, I was like hmmm (Looks at Steam): Takes key copy to origin, Gets Vietnum with Deluve Edition, DAWW YEAH!!!:
I noticed Blitz Pot teddi has BF BC2, try copy your key over to Origin and see if you get the Deluxe as I did, click the 1st bullet point http://store.origin.com/store/eaemea/en_GB/ContentTheme/pbPage.badcompany2uk Who ever has BF2 BC on their steam put the key on Origin, get free expansion saving you £10, $20-15
Origin lol, small text somewhere says "Your downloads will be available for at least 1 year", so probably expect your bought games to expire.
That's dependant on download region etc. I download at max speed on Steam. They removed that two year limit thing with Origin. I don't intend to use Origin, heck I don't really want to use it to get BF3 but on the other hand, EA were nice enough to actually give me BF2142 for free on there (I say free, just to replaced my discs). As for BC2:Vietnam, I already have it on Steam. But it doesn't hurt to have a backup!
Q: Will my game download ever expire? A: Digital download rights remain available for at least one year after purchase. http://support.ea.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/5291/~/origin-frequently-asked-questions Assuming the rest of the answer is more talking about game availability in general. EDIT: When I quoted you I meant what I wrote is in the ToS rather than that 2 year cap. It's also just annoying having to have multiple digital distribution platforms open at once.
The answer is a bit gray, but yeah, I see what you mean. I agree, I don't want multiple distribution platforms but for now we're possibly stuck with it.
I'm starting to notice more and more, everyone wants you using solely their software, and everyone is copying everyone else. It's really getting annoying.
I hadn't heard of it, but I'd heard of EAs store, simply as they'd put some pretty decent games up for 1p, and had stuff like plants vs zombies for very cheap (which I got). It's basically the EA store renamed to Origin and made into a wannabe steam I assume. They've taken Crysis 2 off Steam and put it solely on Origin, as well as the upcoming MMO the Old Republic will be only on Origin too. With ToR alone it'll get attention, but like I wrote above I have no interest in running 2 distribution platforms simultaneously.
