Just announced, new trailer too! Trailer [youtubehd]1WDQ4FhslSk[/youtubehd] First Gameplay Demo [youtubehd]H0fDEA0BFSM[/youtubehd] You will notice that this trailer stands out very differently than the first two games.
I already knew about there being a Bioshock 3 and I knew it wasn't in Rapture anymore, but the release was never official till now.
Bioshock Infinite has been announced for a while now and thats not a new trailer, its been around for a while too.
Not a fan of Bioshock, just never clicked with me. Is old news though btw. Was announced officially back in August before Gamescom I'm pretty sure. (http://kotaku.com/5607451/bioshock-infinite-goes-beyond-the-sea--into-the-skies) Looks cool though, I'll give it that.
Last month is not old my friends. I don't know if any of you can add or subtract but August was last month.
Technically when we all knew about it, it's old. It may be new to you, but it's old to a majority of us. It's the same as when people say a youtube video is old when it's just 3 days old. You've done it before.
Dont you mean you LOVED them? -.- it looks ok but i just think that the story might be a bit limited in the sky.
But everything on youtube is old. Anyways, I have to agree with Angry...the first two games were perfection but when you set the game in a cheerful bright and sunny atmosphere (assuming it stays that way in the game), it loses a lot of quality. Though Ken Levine is working on this one (major developer for Bioshock 1), and he didn't have anything to do with Bioshock 2. It'll probably turn out awesome.
Aha, but if all of the outside is bright and sunny, the inside will be even darker and more atmospheric than normal, because you have become used to seeing sunlight, see?
The trailer looks great, but it's kinda hard to be excited about a Bioshock 3 when you look at Bioshock 2 in relation to Bioshock 1. Also, this Bioshock is set some time ago before the first one, so I guess we'll see how it turns out. Mind you, I have no idea how they will fit in the idea of plasmids into this one if it's canon with the other Bioshocks.
I still found Bioshock 2 to be an excellent sequel, no it's not the first game but it was still a damn good game. Yes, and that is correct, this Bioshock is set during the 1910s I forget which year exactly but it is before Rapture was built. From what I heard there would be no plasmids, more like just magical powers. It sounds corny but I really hope they pull this one off like the first game.
Bioshock 2 had a good story line. However how many times can they introduce you to Rapture? That was where Bioshock became popular, it was a new world to explore and it was awesome. Thats probably why they left the ocean and went into the sky.
Looks cool imo. Although the pictures resized to smaller for some reason, http://www.imagocentre.com/images/66/1283836215959_65.jpg for full image.
