Parenting is quite easy once you get the main jist of it.

But adding another tool for one person to use is a tad pointless.

i dont think id be the only one to use it, but sure i get your point, still want the tools though, parenting is just too annoying and confusing for new builders

sorry for the double post just wanted to add to my 2 requests one more

measuring stick tool, generally helpful for most builds but most helpful with normal hydraulics, not essential but always good to have around

Parenting is really simple. Just ask an admin or experienced builder for help.

its good for bodies and buildings i get that but not really good for functioning stuff, takes away physical properties, and for me generally just goes wrong in so many ways when i try to use it, is it really that hard to add 3 tools for a few people who want them? i do use parent for certain things, but there are things people cant do with parent :p

I'm not quite sure why you'd want to have a measuring stick for hydraulics. Smart welder is a nono, that begs for lag either way and the only difference with smart constraint is that it welds every 0.1 second instead. I would still suggest to learn how to use the parent tool instead (which is easy i might add).

And with parenting, it's still possible to keep the physical aspects of the prop.

No problem. Its one thing to have good tools on a server but having so many adds to the download cache, thus people give up when they see > 600 files.

Those tools would in no way help prevent props from spazzing out.

ok got parenting sorted, and your right, its really easy, but now i have a new request of a wire tool i just found out about

    wire facer tool

    http://www.garrysmod.org/downloads/?a=view&id=20074

basically spawns a prop, that when wired up correctly will follow your cursor, great for robotics and turrets, stuff like that, i think itd be helpful and pretty fun

    Name: Easy Engine

    Link: http://www.garrysmod.org/downloads/?a=view&id=72813

What it does: You can build vehicles with it and you can put parts on such as a radiator, turbo and fuel tank. You can also tune the engine. The engine also have effects and sounds.

This'd be valid if Build was taken down since then. Since it's not, this thread should still be used for tool requests.

There's a forum dedicated to this therefore bumping a old thread is not required. I'll lock this one and look into adding Easy Engine.
