With the records being so low from when there was no velocity cap, it is now impossible to beat the previous records. Could the 3500 velocity cap be removed on surf_island? EDIT: Same thing applies to Surf_Mesa_aether, and probably some more
Mesa Aether was actually one of the main reasons the velocity cap was introduced. The only real records that matter though are the seasonal records and those are definitely beatable because they were just reset a few days ago.
Yeah, what I meant was the all time records. I mostly play because I find joy in beating times, more and more. I understand it's the same for everyone on the seasonal. And Yeah, I forgot about mesa teleports being weird in high speed. But other maps like Island, and probably a few more, I think would be more fun to be able to get on the all time records. Another option would be clearing all the records from certain maps? Otherwise those who are on the top 10's will always be there.
