I haven't been able to login into steam since it had the update a few minutes ago. It said it sent something to my email but I don't get the email. And then I tried all of my passwords I've had before.

Currently scanning for viruses, I'm afraid I have been shown who not to hack on steam! D:

It won't let me remove them, therefore I am going to use a different virus scanner and go cry in a corner.

EDIT: If I'm not on steam for a few more days then I will be at best buy begging the Geek Squad to make these things gtfo. Also, I wouldn't mind if you got on teamviewer and helped me. :U

Eh, the best I can do is say, run AVG, Malware Bytes Anti Malware, and any other virus remover you can think of, and keep running them over and over. Either that, or wipe your computer.

    Also, who is Olivia Garland?

Do you have all the driver disks and Windows XP cd that came with your computer?

Do a scan + wipe with AVG in Safe Mode.
Worked pretty well for me 'bout six months back.
(Wish I would've remembered this before you went offline. >_<)

    Norton sucks. Get Nod32.

    AT LEAST IT DOES SOMETHING.

I'lld say just reinstall your OS. Or since you have XP. Time to move up to Win7.

Norton is a virus, it should detect and remove itself. I needed to find a custom batch file just to remove it from my PC fully.

AVG is one of the better ones, I use it with Search and Destroy (or whatever its called)
