Fully Legal Marijuana coming to USA

It may be legal in the city/state but it's not to the federal government. They can still be arrested by the federal government

Anyone here who says the US should legalize it is stupid, UNLESS you can provide a reason other than "I like it, it should be allowed"

 

They did this in Massachussets, I'm pretty sure that means they can't CHARGE you for it, It's still illegal to smoke it.

No, it's all medical stuff being legalized. Here in Michigan it's legal to own a store that sells Medicinal Marijuana (as of recently), with a permit. Does that make it legal nationally? no, the federal government can still shut down their store and arrest the owners.

 

Am I the only one here who /doesn't/ smoke Marijuana/shoot-up heroine/snort cocaine/rub mushrooms in my ass?

 

I don't smoke marijuana, doesn't mean I don't have to understand how these things work with legalizing it

 

I donno personally, its hard to generalize something just because it has a bad reputation, myself being a moralfag. There are people who do it who have self control and can handle it but then theres people who get so fucked over they fall off a large rock, break their arm and drown in a lake (mexican guy, happened a few months ago). I have friends who can handle it, and I have friends who can't, but if theres even a slightest chance that it could get worse with the legalization of it... well then I say nay. Its bad enough as it is atleast around where I live.

Uh? Marijuana causes cancer, even more so than cigarettes. Marijuana is actually worse than alcohol, other than the crashes. You may think Marijuana doesn't break you, but it does.

Oh, and the reason alcohol is legal and Marijuana isn't, is because the government makes money off of it.

 

I've said before that i don't think it should be legalized. Although i've had my fair share of Chronic there are many health issues caused by the drug.

It's not 'Addictive' (biologically that is) But heavy users quickly become dependent on it similar to Alcohol.

People are dying from bullous lung disease, inflamed lungs, cronic coughing, chest infections as well as the cancers well known from cannabis use.

Legalizing the drug would increase use and therefor increase the effects.

it definately isn't worse than alcohol, considering you can walk perfect when you are totally blazed, your reaction time may be down a bit, but not as bad as alcohol. i've actually been driven by this one guy who drove better when he smoked a little bit.
to some people it is a gateway drug, those are the people with no self control
