Just tested it out and the same is happening for me, I guess just overlook it for now unless I can find a working Garry's Mod version.
deathrun_helix_b8 It looks like to me that this map suffers from a visleak, so will probably not use this. deathrun_atomic_warfare This one looks pretty good - I just need to fix up the endings and that's about it.

deathrun_pharoah is the worse version of my favorite map, deathrun_ramesses: When I asked, I was told about some rivalry with another server (which is no longer in operation). Since that's no longer relevant, here's why I think we should replace pharoah with Ramesses: Better lighting and textures. More competitive - because it's easier for Deaths to move from trap to trap, and the ending takes more skill to complete. And lastly, because just like the stronger twin that absorbs the other in utero, absorbing this map will clearly demonstrate the strength of BB-Deathrun.
The current version isn't great tbh, whenever I've seen it on it often gets speed run by the runners in < a minute and the majority of the traps are bad. This new version could be worth looking into. The dumb stairs on our current version really aren't well designed, especially for Death that don't have plat. If you're chasing after eth9n when he gets a good start you definitely won't catch him due to it. This version does look cleaner.
Someone mentioned Sass used to run it which is apparently why we didn't host it years ago. Also I assume this should replace Pharaoh rather than having both.
The reason I took this map off the rotation iirc is because you could speedrun this map in less than a minute; compared to the alternative where it's not "as" bad.
Can't imagine it's worse than the current one, where 2/3rd's of the traps are basically useless, could be wrong though!
Either replace pharaoh or remove it from rotation tbh. The traps are basically useless, half aren't even lethal. It's just a cube farm lol. The only trap that might kill people is the rotating pole, which people can just jump. The last 6 traps are just awful (platforms you can just jump as Plat etc).
For now, aye. That said, I don't think it hurts to let go of some maps given we have an absolute tonne of them currently.
Yeah that's true, always open to adding decent, new ones though. Teddi implied Ramesses was basically Pharaoh but shinier.
