Whats your gaming atmosphere like? I use forkeyboard: Cyborg V.5 gaming keyboard http://i.imgur.com/WEcfg.png (this image thing is goofy.) R.A.T. 7 Gaming mouse http://i.imgur.com/zCx0b.png Turtle Beach Earforce X11 (I know, its for xbox. but i'm loving the 10' cord.) http://i.imgur.com/iGrX4.jpg Monitor 1690x1050 acer (looking for a larger one, or dual ones atm.) My specs: AMD Athlon 64 processor 3200+ 2.08GHz 8gb of ram Win7 ultimate I also have a home-made heated palm rest for my mouse hand. (just shoved some heating elements in to a soft pad.)
Some average gaming mouse, had a Naga before I learnt Razer's products were cheaply made, (and it subsequently breaking). Keyboard is G15, still going 3-4 years later. Some 22" Monitor, Razer headset (which has been surprisingly reliable). I have that same Cyborg keyboard spare, don't like it though. The lighting is lacklustre, the keys have a weird coating on (and massive letters) and the hand wrest tends to move around a lot, especially when it was like only £10 cheaper than the G15. But yeah I don't use it often. Specs are kind of old, they were awesome when I made the computer 4 years ago though, Quadcore, 7GB ram, some GTS 250 card and still with W7.
Random gaming mouse I like, G110 Logitech keyboard, 1600x900 monitor, a Fatal1ty headset and some pretty good logitech speakers. 8GB DDR3, Quad core i5, got a cheap radeon card atm until I get my 7 series one when i get payed. Oh, and Win7 Ultimate.
Microsoft Basic Optical Mouse V2. Logitec Delux 250 (Cheaper than it sounds >.>) Plantronics GameCom780 Simulated 5.1 Surround-Sound headphones. AMD Phenom II 955 BlackEdition QuadCore, 3.2GHz NVIDIA GeForce GTX260 (2GB) 4GB DDR2 RAM (Don't ask me what make it is) Windows Vista 32bit. A mix of cheap and second hand parts mainly, except the CPU. Although the headphones are mine. :>
oh yes. I also have some really old surround sound system (6 treble speaks and 1 subwoofer in each of the large speakers) and 2 satellite speakers.
Mouse: sentinel z3ro-g Keyboard: microsoft basic keyboard 1.0a [ No one needs a picture for that ] My Dream keyboard would be a wireless one with a chargable one with no need of those AA batteries. like the Logitech Wireless Illuminated Keyboard K800: Motherboard: I will take pictures and give descriptions on whats in it etc. Headphone and mousepad: For starters my mouse mat which I had for free I dunno if anyone will know what it is also my ugly keyboard wired. Memory It has like around 6TB :3 Also sadly it has 4GB I bought 8GB but it did'nt like my computer *cries*:
If you're wondering about the program used - I used speccy. For mouse - G500 Keyboard is your bog standard Logitech K120 keyboard
Processor : i7-2820QM RAM : 16GB 1330Mhz Motherboard : Clevo P170HMx Graphics : 2x 6990M Crossfire Hard Drives : 2x WD5000BPKT (500GB x2 in Raid 0 32mb Cache) Mouse : Rat 7 Headset : CM Storm Sirius Edit: Hey you have the same mouse as me! You like itt?
(Only just noticed the OP listed they used the Rat 7 too) The Rat 7 is a gimmick mouse, kind of a shame to see people sucked into it. The adjustable weights are basically useless and the DPI adjustment valve or whatever you want to call it serves some kind of purpose but again is pretty useless when most people stay on the same anyway. (Apparently it's also a lot less comfortable compared to cheaper/better mice such as SteelSeries Xai, Ikari or Logitech MX518, G5). But hey, I was a Razer fanboy till I realized they were bad so I can't judge too hard. Debate commence!
I think weights can make a difference, but really it's only if you want to finetune movement with your mouse. It has to be a good mouse with a good surface.
I love this mouse. it is Very Comfy. The weights make a difference. Because I have a tense hand, and to keep my mouse grounded in tense situations, weights help. DPI, is eh. it also isnt built great. It was a gift, not my choice to get:3
Right now I'm at work but from memory Cosair 650D Case (with an extra fan installed) i5 2500k processor overclocked @3.7GHz Nvidia 560ti 8GB Cosiar Vengeance 120GB OCZ SSD Some average 400GB hard drive I've had for the past 2 years Logitec G400 mouse (I got an extremely good deal on this one, only getting it for £10) Microsoft Sidewinger x(something) keyboard I'll post pictures of my setup when I eventually get home in 12 hours. Also fucking hell Overlord you have the exact same desk and PC case as my old one. Ugh, horrible. I know you can turn back to classic windows layout but it seems Microsoft is now trying to make their OS a fucking tablet with making programs now having to be verified by Microsoft, removing the whole open aspect of a "open-platform" and the fact that the UI is based of an old AOL OS that looks like its been made with retards in mind. Personally I might move over to Linux when steam starts supporting it. I mean Linux does everything great apart from gaming.
Personally I love the mouse. Can make it fit my hand perfectly. Mouse is heavy with or without weights in it so doesn't really make a big difference. The DPI adjustment thing is good when switching games (Like between TF2 and CSS) Used to have Razer Copperhead and although it lasted a long time the mousewheel eventually broke ;(
i5-2500k 12gb RAM 560ti 500gb SATA Winny 7<3 Basic microsoft mouse. G110 keyboard, pisses me off, my space bar is incredibly squeeky and the back lightning is pretty dim. Awesome colour choices and customization though.
