So E3 2012 has started today.

You can watch the next conference live @ http://e3.gamespot.com/press-conference/ea-e3/ (EA)
I actually missed the first conference which was Microsoft but I heard it was terrible, involved Microsoft forcing Kinect upon everyone and the games all were lackluster (apart from South Park). The notes I've put below I've compiled from various sources.

Also, odds of Valve appearing are currently at nil.

A handy chart if you need to know what's when in what timezone.

    Confirmed Conferences

    • Microsoft (AIRED)
    • EA (AIRED)

    John Madden everywhere.

But that's the EA conference wrapped up. I'll continue highlighting all of the stuff from the other conferences as well.

Minor correction: Halo 4 was already previously announced.

Watch Dogs looks like it could be pretty good, assuming Ubisoft doesn't screw it up with its usual bullshit, and I'm fairly excited about Assassin's Creed 3.

Suddenly, Gabe walks out with a smile on his face.

Episode 3 full release, out today. No forewarning or marketing, or anything.

All 5 teaser trailers and two full trailers are simultaneously released.

Episode 3 only costs $20, $15 if you have the previous Half Life games.

News media outlets are dominated by Episode 3 for a full 48 hour period. People rush out to buy Episode 3 on Steam, the amount of demand causing strain on Steam's servers and causing all downloads in non-Asian regions to slow to a crawl. Critics rave about its newly innovative gameplay and 20 hour long campaign. PC Gamer notes that "Valve's done it again". Metacritic rating averages, both from users and reviewers, are in the 95-100 score range. The critical sales success causes many companies to rethink their business strategies, bringing a genesis of good business practices and innovative and fun games.

    ...

    One can wish, right?

Been watching it since it started. Also Valve is on the vendor list, rumor has it that HL3 was announced officially. I've seen articles "hinting" at it from gabe, but we all know how much of a troll gabe really is.

I believe that they stated previously that they're not debuting anything big this year.

I refuse to believe that, however.

I don't think so. They don't have their own conference and nowhere has any information on it. Valve only have a booth and they've been showcasing Dota 2 / CS:GO there.
If anything they'll be part of the Sony presentation at this rate.
